Terms of service

Accounts and authority

Driftverk is offered for business and professional use. You must be authorised to use the service for your organisation and to accept obligations on its behalf where you purchase or administer its service. Creating an account records your acceptance of this version of the terms. An invitation gives access to the inviting organisation; it does not make every member a billing administrator.

Keep credentials secure, grant only necessary access and notify us promptly of suspected unauthorised use. Your organisation is responsible for the people, API keys and agents it authorises.

Personal data

Our Privacy policy explains how we process personal data for our own account administration, billing, support and security purposes. Where we process personal data on your organisation’s behalf, the Data processing agreement forms part of these terms.

Cloud and Hybrid responsibilities

Cloud provides development environments on infrastructure supplied through Driftverk. Hybrid connects your own supported compute hosts to our control plane. You are responsible for your Hybrid infrastructure, provider charges, host capacity, network configuration and host maintenance unless separately agreed.

You remain responsible for your code, dependencies, licences, environment configuration, agent instructions and the results of commands you or your agents run. Review generated changes before relying on them. Development environments are not a commitment to production application hosting, uninterrupted service or a particular recovery time.

Prices, usage and payment

The pricing page and purchase screen state the applicable rates, currency, taxes and subscription period. Cloud uses prepaid credit. Compute can be chargeable during setup and after failed setup if the environment continues running. Storage can remain chargeable while an environment is stopped; retained volumes and snapshots may also incur charges.

Welcome credit is promotional, has no cash value and must not be obtained repeatedly through multiple identities. Cloud purchases do not enable automatic top-ups. Hybrid subscriptions renew as disclosed at checkout until cancelled. A separately purchased guided pilot does not renew automatically.

Cancel a subscription through billing or contact hello@driftverk.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period unless otherwise agreed. Stopping an environment does not cancel a subscription. Contact us about billing errors or refunds; we correct confirmed overcharges. Promotional credit is not refundable. Any refund of purchased credit or subscription fees is subject to the purchase agreement and applicable law.

Your content and permitted use

You retain ownership of your code and other content. You grant Driftverk only the rights needed to host, copy, transmit and process it to provide, secure and support the service. We do not acquire ownership of agent output or use customer repositories or environment files for AI model training.

Do not use the service for unlawful activity, malware distribution, spam, unauthorised scanning or access, denial-of-service attacks, cryptocurrency mining or attempts to bypass isolation, usage limits or billing. You must have permission to process the data and run the software you supply.

Do not place sensitive personal data or regulated workloads in the service without agreeing the necessary processing and security arrangements with us first. Your use of third-party agents, models and integrations is also subject to your agreement with those providers.

Backups, deletion and leaving

Keep independent backups of important work. Snapshots are a feature you control, not a guaranteed disaster recovery service. Stopping an environment preserves its disk; deletion and automatic deletion timers may permanently remove data. Separately stored snapshots and volumes must be managed separately.

When Cloud credit runs out, new compute may be blocked and running environments queued to stop. The billing retention window is at least seven days before operator removal with notice. It does not override an automatic deletion timer you configured or a deletion you request. An exhausted balance does not immediately delete data, and a disconnected host may not stop immediately.

Export your files and remove resources before closing your account. Contact support to arrange account closure and any assistance with export or deletion. Ending Hybrid access does not itself delete data on your hosts; you are responsible for removing it and revoking host credentials. Personal data processing on termination is governed by the DPA.

Availability and suspension

We may maintain or change the service and will give reasonable notice of material disruption where practicable. No uptime percentage, response time or recovery guarantee applies unless expressly agreed in writing.

We may restrict access where necessary for security, unlawful use, material breach or unpaid fees. We will explain the reason and allow a reasonable opportunity to remedy it where possible. Urgent threats may require immediate action. Contact support if you believe a restriction is mistaken.

Liability

Each party is responsible for its own obligations. To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect loss, lost profit or lost business arising from the service. Driftverk’s aggregate contractual liability is limited to the fees paid by your organisation for the affected service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

These limitations do not apply to fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence or liability that cannot lawfully be limited. They do not restrict data subjects’ rights under the GDPR or obligations imposed by mandatory law.

Changes and disputes

We will notify you at least 30 days before materially adverse changes to these terms or recurring prices take effect, unless law or an urgent security need requires an earlier change. Changes apply prospectively. You may stop using the service and cancel before they take effect. We will seek renewed acceptance where required.

Swedish law governs these terms, subject to mandatory law. The parties will first try to resolve disputes through hello@driftverk.com. Unresolved disputes are submitted to the competent Swedish courts. Contact the same address for support, billing and legal notices.
